UPDATE 13 - One Million

Hey everyone! In late August, I shared an exciting update with the congregation that I’ve lagged getting onto the blog. 

As of the end of July, Liberti has received over $1 million for Project Sanctuary! Join me in thanking God for us hitting this huge milestone.

This giving has come from all kinds of places: members giving more than ever before, kids in our congregation offering up their allowances, unexpected gifts from other churches, support from other churches in the Liberti Communion, contributions from former members who have moved around the country, regular offerings from family members of our congregants, big gifts from neighbors in the River Wards, and even a fun run fundraiser put on by Sunday school kids at a church in Tennessee.

This $1 million is a mosaic, a cobbling together of big and small pieces into one beautiful work. It’s a picture of the church! And the artist is God. Let’s thank him! He has moved in so many hearts to give so generously and so joyfully.
