how can I serve my neighbor?

Pack & Deliver Meals.

Our church co-founded the organization Small Things over ten years ago to deliver meals to households experiencing food insecurity. During the COVID-19 crisis, it has grown to provide food six times a week throughout the Greater Philadelphia region.

Volunteer! Join us 1st and 3rd Friday evenings at 5:00pm at the church to pack meals that are delivered to these neighbors; AND/OR join us 1st and 3rd Saturday mornings at 9:00am to help us deliver those meals! Contact gabli386@gmail.com or stacysanseverino@gmail.com to get involved.

Give! A significant portion of general giving to Liberti goes toward our staff and ministry partners who facilitate services like this one.

Find Your Place.

Do you have a lot of skills but aren’t sure how to use them? Take our “skills inventory”! You may have wisdom about anything from immigrant and refugee care to addiction recovery to excel spreadsheet shortcuts. We think we can find a place for your gifts. Or email john@liberti.org.

We also have many volunteer service opportunities related to our Sunday services (music, greeting, sound/video expertise, children’s ministry, etc.) and many other areas of our church’s community life. Scroll below and see the many service teams you can inquire about.

There’s no better way to make a friend than to serve alongside others!

Secure a Home.

Help Our New Afghan Neighbors! Connect with our congregation’s welcome to refugees.

Can you fix stuff?
We’ve got a lot of neighbors who need home repairs but can’t afford it. Several small teams of deacons and volunteers work on neighbors’ homes, doing things like drywall repair and other odd jobs. Contact larry@liberti.org if you’d like to get involved.

Build a home. This year, in partnership with “Simple Homes”, we are rehabbing one home to help a struggling family become homeowners. We were able to raise over $10,000 during Lent to contribute to this work, and we are now gathering volunteers to help rehab the property. For more info, contact larry@liberti.org or Scott Hicks at srhicks01@gmail.com.
