Liberti Communion Family,

We are excited to announce our first International Summer Team as a Communion of Churches!

eSwatini is a small country in South Africa it is one of the few remaining monarchies in the World. The country is almost the size of Rhode Island and has approximately 1:1 million people. Our partner ministry Comfort for Africa has been ministering in this country for the last sixteen years. During that time a school has been built that now has 365 students, a well has been dug that provides water for the school and the surrounding area. There is also a ministry to the deaf population that encompasses sign language training, social rights activism, the formation of a deaf church, an ESL Village Program for deaf who are illiterate. Our teams provide mobile health clinics, food and clothing distribution, orphan outreach, building projects and the development of a Liberti Communion of churches in eSwatini and South Africa.

This year’s team will be leaving on Thursday July 6th and returning on Thursday July 20th

The cost of the trip is $3,000.00

If you are interested in this trip we will be having two information meetings: a zoom meeting on Wednesday evening February 22nd from 7:30-8:30PM and an in person meeting on Sunday February 26th  6:00 -7:00PM at the Juliani’s House (415 Walnut Street, Jenkintown PA 19046 – 215-350-6957) 

Registration deadline Sunday March 26th, First Team Meeting Sunday March 26th 5:00 – 7:30 with pot luck dinner at the Juliani’s (see above)

Registration requires a $100 deposit.

There is a possibility of a shorter 10 day trip for those who cannot do the whole two weeks. The dates for this trip would be leaving with the team on July 6th and returning to Newark Sunday morning July 16th.
