Let the beloved of the LORD rest secure in Him, for He shields him all day long, and the one the LORD loves rests between His shoulders."  Deut.33:12. Isn't that a great picture of the intimacy the Lord shows to those He loves? Would you like to grow in your awareness of God's tender care for, and close presence? Join Sandy Elder and Carol Davis as they lead a 6-week Soul Listening Community group, offering instruction in some spiritual disciplines that can help you to better notice and respond to God's loving care and presence in your life. This group will meet weekly, starting 3/23 from 9:15-11:30am; due to Liberti scholarships, the cost is $50 per person for the entire session. Email soullistcomm@gmail.com to register.

“A Theology of Song" with Danni Peace

“A Theology of Song" with Danni Peace
Saturday 2/2 @ 10am

Join us on Saturday 2/2 for the first of a multi-session exploration of a “theology of song”. Throughout the course of 2019 we are seeking to sharpen our biblical theology of singing, in which we will seek to answer the questions, Why is singing so essential to our common worship? What is the God-ordained function of singing in worship? How can we grow as a singing congregation? These conversations will be led by Danni Peace, a local recording artist who led worship for us last year. Danni also ministers on college campuses in our city.
Worship and music leaders from our church will be in attendance on 2/2, but all are welcome!

Liberti Combined Service

Join us at 10:30am at Liberti Center City for our annual combined service with other Liberti churches from our network!

Service Start Time: 10:30am
Location: 123 S 17th St, Philadelphia, PA 19103

Missional Movement: Liberti for the Long Haul

We are going to take an offering Sunday that will support the ongoing work of the Liberti Network. Fifteen years ago, Liberti was 70 people meeting in a school basement. Now, by God's grace, there are nine Liberti churches across PA and NJ! Your giving will support us as we continue in the next fifteen years of this gospel work. We have $8,500 in matching funds, so everything you give will be doubled (even if you just give a small sum -- every donation helps!). If you want to donate online, go to Liberti.org/give. Let's plant more churches and do more in the region that we love!

Parking: If you'd like to drive, park in the Liberty Place Parking Garage & grab a parking voucher on your way out, so your parking will be free. If you park in another garage, the voucher will not work. The entrance to the Liberty Place Parking Garage is located on 16th Street in between Chestnut and Market Streets.

Childcare provided for Newborns - Kindergarteners.
Liberti Kids Check in Instructions at the combined service:
Liberti Kids (Newborns through kindergarteners) will be checked in (given name tags, but not dropped off) from 10:15am-10:30am prior to the service. Then you and your child(ren) will remain in the service until the "Passing the Peace" portion of the service. You can then drop off your children (NB-K) at their classrooms at Passing the Peace (Alyssa Wood will be there to direct you and answer questions).
