The Annual Philly Spring Cleanup on April 2nd is an excellent opportunity to exercise Lenten Generosity with our time, joining with others in our immediate neighborhood. Here are a few ways to serve:
Volunteer to pack and/or deliver groceries to at-risk neighborhoods with Liberti’s Small Things. Contact Jonathan Downs for more information, or visit these links for packing and delivery.
Consult with your home meeting or neighbors on potential group projects. Call 311 to report illegal dumping sites. For projects that can include others, consider registering with the Philly Spring Cleanup page for equipment and volunteer support.
Help inform the neighborhood around Liberti River Wards about our church's presence by signing up for a project on the East Kensington Neighborhood Association website.
