Did you know that our current elder, deacons, and deaconess trainees have been in training for two years? On Friday, September 8th, 6:30pm-9:30pm we’re going to celebrate them by kicking off our 2017 retreat with a celebration dinner! We are going to roast & toast these people with a lot of sass and a lot of love, and we need you all there! We have a food & drink menu lined up, we’re going out to center city, and we’re kicking off the fall with friends. The dinner will be at Liberti Church Center City. Tickets are $15 for the meal, and you can pay here. On September 1st, the cost will go up to $25. Childcare is free, but you must RSVP here if you plan to receive childcare.

The next day, Saturday, September 9th, will be a half day leaders retreat (9am-12pm & lunch 12pm-1pm), where we’ll communicate key vision points for the year ahead. This year’s theme will be, “Rhythms of Grace: The Habits of Every Disciple of Jesus.” Our pastors have been chewing on this theme for quite a few months and are excited to encourage & equip our leaders for the months ahead.
