Liberti River Wards seeks to
LIVE, SPEAK, & SERVE
as the very presence of Christ in the River Wards of Philadelphia
We are part of the Liberti Communion of churches and a member church in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA).
WHO WE ARE
We are a local church serving Philadelphia’s “River Wards,” the neighborhoods north of Center City along the Delaware River — Kensington, Fishtown, Northern Liberties, Port Richmond, and Olde Richmond. We are part of a communion of Liberti Churches throughout the greater Philadelphia area, and a member church in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA).
We believe that Jesus Christ lived the life we should have lived and died the death we deserved to die. His resurrection from the dead is the central fact of both human history and personal meaning in life.
Home meetings
Home meetings are gatherings of 8–12 people meeting in individual homes throughout the River Wards during the week. In home meetings, a primary Christian community is developed and fostered.
serve your community
Liberti River Wards has a number of ministry opportunities that seek to serve our neighbors in the River Wards area of Philadelphia. Learn more about meal packing, building homes for refugees, and other ways you can volunteer and partner with us as we seek to serve as the very presence of Christ to our community.
Liberti Kids
At Liberti, we love families and children. More importantly, Jesus loves children, and we want families of parents and children to together experience the grace of Jesus. Click below to learn more about our children’s ministry including Sunday worship and our weekly Liberti Kids Club.
