UPDATE 22 - Construction has started! (Plus, a big update!)

Hey all!

I write with two big updates today.

First, construction has started at 2531 E Lehigh Ave! On Monday morning, we had a construction kickoff meeting with our GC and his team, our architects, and a few engineers. Our GC has already ripped up the first floor. In the weeks ahead, we are going to test the soil to prepare it for loadbearing and then begin laying a new foundation.

And second, I have updates regarding Project Sanctuary Renewed. We have three goals for the initiative: $175k in one-time gifts before the end of the year, $320k in new and extended pledges, and 26 people committed to praying every single day in 2026. After conversations with leaders, I can tell you that God has brought us far with each of these goals already: donors have committed to give $135k out of the $175k; others have extended their pledges so we are already at $165k out of $320k for the second goal; and 8 people out of the 26 have committed to pray. Join me in thanking God! And join me in asking God how he would have your family participate with us in this final push.
